Прочита́л кни́гу Карне́ги “Как завоёвывать друзе́й и ока́зывать влия́ние на люде́й” и реши́л, что сле́дующий день начну́ с улы́бки.
Всю пе́рвую полови́ну дня стара́тельно всем улыба́лся, по возмо́жности и́скренне. В обе́д ко мне подошёл нача́льник и сказа́л:
– Ещё раз наку́ренный на рабо́ту придёшь – уво́лю!

I read Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and decided that I would start the next day with a smile.Throughout the first half of the day, I diligently smiled at everyone, as sincerely as possible. At lunchtime, the boss came up to me and said:
- If you come to work stoned one more time - I'll fire you!
