A cowboy in the prairie

Ска́чет ковбо́й по пре́риям, вдруг навстре́чу инде́йцы. Разверну́лся он и дава́й скака́ть во весь опо́р, а инде́йцы за ним и всё бли́же и бли́же.

“Ну, всё”, – ду́мает ковбо́й, – “я пропа́л”. А вну́тренний го́лос ему́ и говори́т: “Ещё не всё! Разверни́сь и убей вождя́!”

Ковбо́й ре́зко развора́чивает ло́шадь, прице́ливается из караби́на и убива́ет вождя́. А вну́тренний го́лос ему́ и говори́т: “Ну вот, тепе́рь действи́тельно всё!”

In English

A cowboy gallops in the prairie, suddenly he sees the Indians moving towards him. He turned around and started galloping away from them at full speed, but the Indians are getting closer and closer.

"That's it," - thought the cowboy, - "I'm done." But his inner voice tells him: "It's not over yet! Turn around and kill their leader."

The cowboy turns the horse, takes aim with the carbine and kills the leader. Now his inner voice tell him: "That it, now you are really done!"
