Уши вянут и крыша едет
Hello everyone! Today we’ll learn a couple Russian slang expressions that might come in handy in various life situations.
Всем большо́й приве́т!
Big hello everybody!
В очередно́й раз я предлага́ю вам попо́лнить свой слова́рный запа́с слова́ми и выраже́ниями, кото́рые вы ре́дко найдёте в уче́бниках ру́сского языка́.
Once again, I invite you to enrich your Russian vocabulary with words and expressions that you rarely find in the Russian textbooks.
Сего́дня мы изу́чим па́ру ситуа́ций и попро́буем описа́ть их о́чень ру́сскими выраже́ниями.
Today we examine a couple of situations and try to describe them with very Russian expressions.
Ситуа́ция но́мер оди́н:
Situation number one:
Вы слы́шите что́-то, что вам не нра́вится. Наприме́р, кто-то исто́шно матери́тся, врёт напропалу́ю и́ли про́сто нехорошо́ выска́зывается в ва́шем присуствии. Как мо́жно описа́ть ощуще́ния?
You hear something you do not like. For example, someone is heart-rendingly swearing, recklessly lying or just doesn’t mind his bad language in your presence. How can we describe our feelings?
Мне его́ слова́ у́ши ре́жут.
His words are hurting my ears.
У меня́ у́ши вя́нут слу́шать ва́ше враньё.
My ears are withering listening to your lies.
У меня́ от твои́х деби́льных исто́рий у́ши в тру́бочку свора́чиваются.
My ears are folding into a tube from your moronic stories.
Как мо́жно ви́деть, все э́ти выраже́ния опи́сывают, как неприя́тно ва́шим уша́м слы́шать то, что они́ слы́шат.
As you can see, all these expressions describe how unpleasant it is for your ears to hear what they hear.
Ситуа́ция но́мер два: вас что́-то си́льно напуга́ло. Ва́ша реа́кция?
Situation number two: something freaked you out. Your reaction?
Блин, я чуть в штаны́ не наложи́ла!
Damn, I almost dumped a load it in my pants!
Я так испуга́лся, что чуть не обде́лался.
I got so scared that almost craped my pants.
Как мы ви́дим, э́ти выраже́ния опи́сывают есте́ственную реа́кцию органи́зма на испу́г. 🙂
As we can see, these expressions describe the natural body’s reaction to fear. 🙂
А когда́ вы черто́вски уста́ли и ва́шим еди́нственным жела́нием явля́ется мир и поко́й, вы́разить свои́ эмо́ции мо́жно сле́дующим о́бразом:
And when you are damn tired and your only desire is to be in peace and quiet, you can express your emotions this way:
Ма́ма, роди́ меня́ обра́тно!
Mommy, take me back (into the stomach)!
Останови́те зе́млю, я сойду!
Stop the earth, I’m coming out! (like in a bus)
У меня́ уже́ кры́ша е́дет от всего́ э́того!
My roof is sliding off because of it all! (I’m going crazy!)
На э́том вас оста́влю. Жела́ю бо́дрости и хоро́шего расположе́ния ду́ха, и до сле́дующей встре́чи! 🙂
I will leave you here. I wish you to be energized and in a good mood, and see you next time! 🙂
