The Soviet sci-fi movie “Aquanauts” (1979), directed by Igor Voznesensky, was most likely remembered by the viewers only thanks to the song “Promise Me Love” (composer Evgeny Krylatov, lyrics Igor Voznesensky, performed by Tatyana Daskovskaya).
Over the years, the song has remained on the ear and entered the repertoire of many singers.
Unfortunately, in the film, a short version of the song was used (without the third verse). Apparently, the recording of the full version of the song performed by Tatyana Daskovskaya was simply never done, and if it was done, it was not preserved.
