Старый друг лучше новых двух

Ста́рый друг лу́чше но́вых двух.

Translation:

An old friend is better than two new ones.

Meaning:

This is used to emphasize the value of a long-standing friendship. A person may have many "buddies" and "acquaintances", but there are not so many real friends.
